Formerly a New York City professional performing artist, Summer Baldwin is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She received her BFA in Theater/Dance from Valdosta State University and is a certified teacher in Yoga, Kids Yoga and Rhythm Works Integrative Dance for special needs. Summer has performed original dance pieces at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art, The Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center, Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art and the New Orleans Fringe Festival. Film-work includes leading roles in the award-winning films The Dead Man's Number and Cornbread Cosa Nostra as well as co-creating Aloneliness: a screendance with Rachel Searcey. Baldwin is the Founder/Event Coordinator of the COAST DANCEfest presented by The Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center in Ocean Springs, MS. As Director of the Dance and Theater Department at ROCK U 2 in Ocean Springs, Summer strives to offer a non-competitive, exploratory, and imaginative experience of the performing arts to students of all ages and skill levels. Summer has also recently been added to the Mississippi Arts Commission Artist Roster for Dance.

Lauren Guynes grew up in Terry, MS and is now a resident of Ocean Springs, MS. In 2013 Lauren received her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Southern Mississippi. During her time at Southern Miss, she performed and choreographed for the Repertory Dance Company where, in addition to her work with student and faculty choreographers, had the privilege of working with guest artists including InSpirit, Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, and ClancyWorks Dance Company. Immediately following graduation, she performed as a guest artist with Hattiesburg’s Hub Dance Collective in their 2013 concert debut, The Moment in Which Something is Likely to Begin. Since then, Lauren has performed as part of the 2014 RADFest in Kalamazoo, MI, the 2014 Brockport Alumni Concert at Dixon Place, the 2014 DUMBO Dance Festival in New York City, the 2015 Chicago Harvest Dance Festival, and she continues to perform as a guest artist with Hub Dance Collective. Lauren is also a company member with the Marigny Opera Ballet in New Orleans, LA. She continues to dance, teach, and choreograph throughout Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
